This is obviously a result of the BSOD but not the cause of the BSOD. ![]() ![]() This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Searching this event in google results " Kernel Power 41(63) : The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. Have been using a 250gb Solid State HD for 2 years Replaced the battery with OEM Battery a year agoĪ Event log search resulted in Kernel-Power Event ID 41 Task 63 Error. Ran ePSA diagnostic (long version) had no problems detected. I performed a fresh install of win 11 with all critical updates and still have the symptoms (remember, if I am actively using the laptop, it has not yet demonstrated any problems. until it's idle for a random amount of time. ![]() Here is the kicker, If I use the power button to restart, It loads to Windows Desktop just fine. Pressing F12 in this state lists boot options and also does not list the Boot Drive. Selecting F1 to retry, garners the same results "Boot Drive Not Found". Press F1 to RETRY or F12 for Other Boot Options" It is when the machine is sitting idle that I get a seemingly random brief blue screen and automatic reboot where the system cannot find the boot drive. Starting 3 weeks ago, while actively using it, I have not experienced any problems. I have a older laptop that is used for streaming platforms currentlyĭell Latitude E6510 running Win 11 22H2 Current build, i5 2.53 GHz Intel Processor, 8 GB RAM. ![]()
